Studio Bardo is an ever-evolving design practice rooted in careful observation and experimentation. The studio operates within and between the realms of architectural and landscape design.
Founded by Matt Moffitt, Studio Bardo is based in Massachusetts and currently serves clients across the Mid-Atlantic, Midwest, New England, and the South. Moffitt, an architectural designer and educator, teaches architecture and urbanism studios at Northeastern University. He received his Master of Architecture at the Harvard Graduate School of Design and has served as a guest critic at the University of Pennsylvania, Harvard Graduate School of Design, Cornell, the Boston Architectural College, and Penn State.
Moffitt’s professional experience includes his role as a project manager at Michael Van Valkenburgh Associates and as an Associate at Maryann Thompson Architects, where he managed projects ranging from intimate garden designs and ground-up residences to large-scale campus centers.
