HOUSE IN A MEADOW

House in a Meadow is the first of two homes recently completed in northern Michigan, situated along the shores of Little Traverse Lake. Although proportioned as a vernacular dwelling, the build stands out with its unique elements. A split gable roof brings theatrical light into an open sleeping loft, while Douglas fir fins breach the home's envelope, creating a connection between the open living space and the surrounding meadow.

House in a Meadow was completed in 2024.
